Mt. Hood Meadows Review

Hey guys, okay so I am going to review Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort. If you love big open hills and the option of easy to double black diamond it’s a great resort. My favorite is the Vista Express and Mt. Hood Express. The lodge is quite large and offers a dine in areas for cheaper food such as sandwiches, nachos, burgers and that good stuff, which is table settings like a cafeteria, long tables with seating, and down the hallway is more seating as pizza as well as a little area to get drinks, bagels, coffees, brownies. There is plenty of seating for sure for everyone.  Outside seating is nice and they have tables with little gas fireplaces in the middle to keep you warm. Meadows also has a nicer dining area that includes a bar as well as live entertainment, they have great onion rings from when I had them a few years back as well as Shirley Temples.  Prices are what you would expect for a resort, higher then normal but you can always pack a lunch as well.  The staff is friendly for the most part, I have only had one bad experience when we bought two tickets online, and then they would not give the tickets to us when we got there.  Other then that, the staff is fun and always asks how the riding is going, and always there to get you to the top of the mountain. You can find great deals, we recently bought a child’s pass, which included a lesson, and kept James busy until 6:00 pm and then you got a adult ticket for free, as well as deals on tickets with rentals, if you need that. Weather wise, it all depends on how the snow is going to be, at night it can get a bit icy, like anywhere else, and in the spring, if there isn’t a nice big dump of snow it starts to get slushy, but when it pours snow, it’s a great place to ride. Here are a few pictures I have taken through out the years
